I don’t just want to be another producer stacking type-beats.
Don’t get me wrong; there is definitely a place for that kind of production in the game. On occasion, I’ve even utilized them myself when writing verses.
But for me, both as a performing artist and as a producer, writing good, solid songs is the goal. Over and over again, I just want to keep writing good songs; regardless of genre or what style might fit best in the Top 40 at a given time. I grew up listening to everything. I simply appreciate music and I think that shows in the tracks I produce.
I want artists to know that when they work with me, they can expect to have their vision realized, because I always aim to take the time to get to know someone and how they think musically before I attempt to write for them.
They can also expect the finished product to have a unique feel to it, because they got it from me, and no one’s going to make something exactly like I do.
